resurrection?

hey friends,

i thought, for all of you xanga frequenters, that it could be cool to resurrect this thing with a new kind of life.

originally it was made as a keep in touch sort of thing over the summer, which is cool.

but now we are all here at school, & even so i don't talk to all of you every day, although i pray every day for my friends.

so i thought we could begin to use this thing as a more frequent, smaller prayer request forum.

because i was thinking -- i have been getting enough sleep, but still feeling really tired, so i would love for anyone praying out there to pray that i could feel awake & make it through the boring stuff (classes, meetings) with energy. without just becoming psychologically and physically dependent on coffee.

mmmkay, see you kids later. :)

for all the leaders and upperclassmen in iv, that we may have perserverance, enduring in our task of going out certain of what we do not see. for the hard task of adjusting, re-evaluation, self-examining that each new school year brings, and for security in God amidst our ever-changing relationships and settings. may there be peace and courage among us all.

pray as you will, dear friends!

Hi all...

I think most of you may know my situation already, but in case you don't... I moved in Saturday and I've been physically sick ever since. I initially thought it was food poisoning, but then I realized that within a half hour to 45 minutes of leaving my room, I'd start to feel better, and with 10-20 minutes of returning to my room, I'd start to feel sick again. It doesn't seem like normal symptoms.

I did a lot of talking with my parents, and we basically came to the conclusion that it was a spiritual attack; during small-group prayer at the family meeting last night, I shared this with my group and we prayed about it. Afterwards, a bunch of people came back with me to the room and we prayed over it (and me) and dedicated the room to God.

Today, I'm about just as sick as I was yesterday. I'll be going back home (20 minutes away) in a couple of hours, coming back here tomorrow. In the meantime, if you all could just lift up me and the room in your prayers? And just pray that God would use this whole messy situation for His glory.

thanks,
love in Him,
Anne-Cara

for the beginning of a new school year:
Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perserverance the race marked out before us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hallo IV brothers and sisters! Grace and peace to you!

So I just had a very good job interview yesterday, but I'm in limbo waiting for an answer. I would appreciate a oneness in Spirit that the Lord's will be done (and if it be the Lord's will, that I get that job!).

Cheers,
John
